(Cross-posting this everywhere I can think of)

This journal has just launched and looking for fiction, poetry, non-fiction, translations, and art for its first issue.
http://kunlunjournal.blogspot.com/

Fiction: We are looking for original fiction set in pre-modern China (that is, before the end of the Qing dynasty). Although China is the focus of this publication, fiction set in Japan, Korea, Vietnam, or other Southeast Asian countries will also be considered.

Aside from the historical setting, there is no further thematic requirement. We're looking for well-written, character-driven stories that do more that just show off the author's knowledge of a given historical setting or event. Experimentation with narrative, voice, and other literary techniques is welcome, but not required. Kunlun is the home of both the conventional and the esoteric. Wuxia stories are especially welcomed.

So if anyone happens to have a wuxia story sitting in their HDD somewhere...

1. [community profile] wuxia is where it's at. We have picspams! We have random clips! We have...little else at the moment. But please come visit, and if you have a DW account, do consider joining us.

2. [info]imaginarybeasts is a "bi-monthly webzine dedicated to original fiction of the oneshot variety." The theme for the latest edition, Book #21, is wuxia. Come on over for gorgeous art and a diverse collection of short stories.

I am more used to writing on my life with my birds and animals.

This entry is not on birds or animals. This is my memoirs that I wanted to write before it faded away with time.

After many years, I decided to write the above. That was not easy to write as you can read later on. That covered a strange chain of events.

There are some adult themes not suitable for minors.
There are encounters of mystical strange nature.

DO NOT READ FURTHER IF YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE

Hi everyone!
Is anyone here a fan of Chinese Paladin (Xian Jian Qi Xia Zhuan)?

I run a fansite and fanlisting for the couple Li Xiaoyao and Zhao Ling'er played by Hu Ge and Liu Yi Fei:

Fairy and Swordsman: Chinese Paladin Fansite

If you're a fan, please give it a visit! I'm also currently looking for site affiliates so if you run a Chinese Drama Blog or anything related (Wu Xia) could you please let me know too?

Thanks for reading :)

For [info]help_haiti
I made an offer to write fanfic in exchange for donation at [info]help_haiti, the fandom community created to help the earthquake victims in Haiti. Jin Yong is among the fandoms I'm willing to write for, so you might want to take a look.

Hi guys! I'm new here and this is my first post ^_^

I've just finished watching Zhang Jizhong's production of Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre starring Deng Chao and Ady An.

I've written reviews with a few DVD screencaps, official pics and behind-the-scene pictures. Also comparisons with novel and other adaptations for a few scenes that I care enough to compare^^

Part I: Zhang Cuishan & Yin Susu's Arc

Part II: The Young Orphan Zhang Wuji's Arc

Part III: The Bright Peak Battle Arc

Part IV: Fighting against The Mongolian Warrior Princess

Part V: The Snake Island Arc

Part VI: The Road to Disastrous Wedding

Final Part: The Battle at Shaolin

Don't forget to leave a comment if you've watched it too^^
